TPC12// UTILITY TROUSERS
The Utility Trousers have been designed by taking inspiration from the utility trend seen everywhere on the catwalk in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Combining an easy summer carrot leg silhouette, with a flattering fitted waist.
This pattern is best made with a medium to heavy weight fabric such as cotton drill as seen in the images below. Alternatively, they would look great made in denim or similar.
Wear with the Trench jacket for a full Utility look, or alternatively with the pleated shoulder top as seen in our photoshoot images.
Variations
The side front leg flap construction can be ignored, leaving the side panel plain. This pattern now had a patch pocket that can be added to your front leg. Instructions are included at the end of the booklet

210cm of fabric - based on a width of 140cm.
225cm of fabric - based on a width of 120cm.
5x Button.
60cm of medium weight fusible.
Difficulty - Moderate.
Buttonholes are required for the fly closure.
