TPC7// PLEATED SHOULDER DRESS

The Pleated Shoulder Dress has been designed by taking inspiration from the catwalks trends seen in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. We were inspired by the big, voluminous sleeves. Along with an Eastern inspired theme. 

This pattern is best made with a lightweight cotton fabric. A floral pattern, as seen in the images below, or an abstract print would create an interesting look.

Variations 

You can also follow cut lines on the pattern to make a skirt or a top version. There is a waistband pattern provided, you will need elastic for this. The top is a shorter version of the dress with a double turn on the hem.

• Full pattern in size 6-22

• Instruction booklet

What you need for the full dress version based on size 22:

• Fabric - 520cm x 140cm width OR 560cm x 120cm width

• Concealed zip 63cm all sizes (finished length 61cm)

• Fusing 110cm x 90cm width

What you need for the Top version based on size 22:

• Fabric - 360cm x 120cm width

• Concealed zip 63cm all sizes. (finished length 61cm)

• Fusing 40cm x 90cm width

What you need for the skirt version based on size 22:

• Fabric - 350cm x 120cm width

• Fusing 110cm x 90cm width

• Elastic 3cm wide, for skirt version cut to your waist measurement

Difficulty - Moderate.

There are a lot of seams and pleats in the construction of this pattern, and the main pieces are very big. Therefore this can be a bit of a time consuming make.
